Our offices are at the intersection of Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue, at 240 Commercial Street in the North End of Boston, 02109. We’re located on the 4th floor. The door to the lobby is locked for the night at 6:00pm; if you have any trouble getting in, just call (617) 423-2223 and we’ll let you in.

In the North End parking is very tight, especially after 6:00pm. Between 8:00am - 6:00pm there is metered parking available for non-residents but make sure to read the signs carefully. If your visit to Habitat Greater Boston will extend past 6:00 pm, there is a parking lot across Commercial Street that charges $15/day as well as by the hour. Habitat Greater Boston will not be able to reimburse people who use the parking lot.

Directions from the MBTA

From the Green or the Orange Line (0.4 mile walk)

Take the T to the Haymarket stop. Walk left out of the station, and take your first left on Hanover Street. Walk five blocks on Hanover Street, then make a right on Fleet Street (also called Tony DeMarco Way). Walk four blocks to the end of Fleet Street, make a right, and the entrance to our building is just after Anthony’s Restaurant.

From the Blue Line (0.3 mile walk)

Take the T to the Aquarium stop. Walk across Christopher Columbus Park. Make a right on Atlantic Avenue, walk two blocks to the intersection of Atlantic and Commercial Street. We’re located across the street, just to the left of Anthony’s Restaurant.

Driving Directions

From I-93 South

Take exit 24B-A toward Government Center. After 0.3 miles, turn left at John F. Fitzgerald Surface Rd/Surface Rd, then turn left on Atlantic Avenue. After two blocks at the intersection of Atlantic and Commercial Street, you’ll see a parking lot on your right ($15 to park all day). We’re across the street from the lot, just to the left of Anthony’s Restaurant.

From I-93 North

Take exit 23 toward Government Center. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for North End/Charlestown. Make a slight right onto North Street, then turn right to stay on North Street. Turn right on Lewis Street and a quick left on Commercial Street. There’s a parking lot across Atlantic Avenue from our building, it’s $15 to park all day.

From I-90

Take exit 24 A-B-C on the left to merge onto I-93 N/RT-3 N/Thomas P. "Tip" O'Neill, Jr. Tunnel/US-1 N toward Concord NH. After 1 mile, take exit 23 toward Government Center. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for North End/Charlestown. Make a slight right onto North Street, then turn right to stay on North Street. Turn right on Lewis Street and a quick left on Commercial Street. There’s a parking lot across Atlantic Avenue from our building, it’s $15 to park all day.
